Even though you may be able to never imagine it happening to you, there may be a time when you need to be prepared to speak the ‘language of violence.’
We’ve got former Krav Maga Instructor, Scott Woods, here to work with you to help you stand up in a fight or an attack.
Scott will discuss ways to avoid dangerous situations as well as show you how to defend and protect yourself, and how to think when you do find yourself in this position.
You will learn how to defend yourself against a perpetrator using Krav Maga (Hebrew for ‘contact combat’) tactics that will help you in scenarios like:
– Being grabbed by the hair
– Pulled at weird angles (ex. someone grabbing your bag or arm)
– Being carried off in a bear hug position
– Being attacked from behind
– Being held down on the ground
– Being pinned under someone
– Getting chased down
